Reminder

This is the last week of voting for the 2008 Pro Bowl. If you are just sitting around, playing on the internets, why not click here and vote for DeMeco (and any other Texans you care to vote for) as many times as possible?

He’d do it for you. You know, if you were anywhere near good enough to be playing in the NFL.

    Just going through the ballot, how exactly is Faggins on there? I had a really good laugh when I saw that.

    Petey and the Pro Bowl… *snicker*

    I just voted for David Carr.

    I have no explanation. It was just too funny.

    interesting note…over at SI.com Don Banks does the 2007 draft over again and he has none other than our own Nigerian Prodigy going at number 4 to the Bucs: “AMOBI OKOYE, DT, Louisville

    Original pick: Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
    Given the Bucs’ need for another receiving threat, it was tempting to give them Dwayne Bowe in this slot. But Okoye has been described as a young Warren Sapp, and Tampa Bay could use a play-making presence at tackle. Four of Okoye’s five sacks came in September, but he continues to play staunch run defense. ”

    he also has the Texans taking Marshawn Lynch at number 10. wonder where that came from?

    There’s an even more awesome article that Reuben Frank wrote on Bush vs. Williams. I just posted a link to it on the Bush thread, but what the hell, it’s Friday. I’ll post it here too.

    @Vega
    I want that picture of Mario tackling reggie framed and hung up over Richard Justice’s desk, signed “To Dick with love, Mario”

    “With four games left, Bush doesn’t have a run longer than 22 yards. Trent Green, Jay Cutler, Josh McCown, Ben Roethlisberger, Donovan McNabb and Jason Campbell all have longer runs than Bush this year. And they’re quarterbacks! Bush’s 3.7 average is 37th out of 47 backs with 75 carries or more.” hehe..Trent Green.

    @Vega
    That article made me cry tears of joy while laughing sadistically. It was a beautiful moment.

    @Tyler
    Funnily enough – that picture is my computer background. Of course it only increases the ridicule I take from these damn yankees in class… but one day they’ll pay. One day.

    Oh and SI.com also noted Fred-tacular as one of the 10 “hidden gems” from this years draft.

    It’s true. Smithiak are terrible at personnel decisions. Oh wait…

    @Vega. Your vote for David Carr is no worse than my vote for Rex Grossman.

    I voted for david carr too, but mostly because I think it would be awesome to see someone get sacked 26 times in the pro bowl.

    I think we should all band together to vote DC into the Pro Bowl. For every vote for Demeco and Mario, we should log one vote one for Carr. Then we’ll sit at home and do a shot of tequila every time one of them sacks Carr. It’ll be the most therapeutic moment in the history of the franchise.

    Mario actually deserves a vote, I think that’s awesome

    Seriously. Can anyone really make a good case for another DE opposite Jared Allen? He’s 2nd in the AFC in sacks among DEs. Dumervil may have an edge with his five pass deflections and pick, but if Mario notches another two or three sacks on the season he should be a shoe-in.

    I’m with you guys. I didn’t vote for mario to be sarcastic. I actually believe he has earned a trip this year. I read somewhere that Mario is actually the second leading vote getter right now. here’s hoping it’s the first of many trips.

    Mario and DeMeco should be legitimate Pro Bowl options.

    Who is a better linebacker in the AFCthan DeMeco?
    (the first person to say “Ray Lewis” gets stabbed)

    And who is a better option at defensive end than Mario? I love Jason Taylor’s game, but his boys are going 0-16.

    Unfortunately the first person to not say Ray Lewis will most likely get stabbed too, and he has a little more experience at stabbin’. My hands are tied here.

    Matt (and all you other crazy drunks),

    I had no idea your site moved. When did this happen? Man, how much did I drink and how long have I been passed out? Oh well, at least I finally found home…It’s good to see the 24-hour frat party hasn’t diminished in any way around here…LOL!
