Tomorrow shall mark the 15th anniversary of the death of the Houston Oilers. And will also mark the beginning of the Texans…
(how the F do you blow a 35-3 lead? How!?!?)

@Shake: And I swallow. Vulgarity alert!!!

@Dave: How? You put Steve Jackson on the field and expect him not to suck, that’s how. And then you go from the run and shoot to the 1/2 yard and a cloud of dust strategy.

@ BFD: Go Blue, indeed. I was sure that they were going to get absolutely destroyed due to facing a mobile QB (see, e.g., App State, Oregon, OSU under Krenzel/Smith, etc.). Instead, we got to see them expose Tebow as the one-dimensional player he is. Odd. On top of which, Missouri beat the piss out of the Hogs while I was watching with Ark fans. Great day.

Let ring in the New Year with our 08 opponents!
Texans 2008 Home/Road Schedule (dates not released yet)
Home games: Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Miami, Chicago and Detroit.
Road games: Indy, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Oakland, Green Bay and Minnesota.
Looks like we are playing the AFC North and the NFC North. Other than @Indy I don’t see one game on the schedule I don’t think we can’t win. 10-6 seems like a very reasonable goal. Assuming we draft a CB, sign a veteran CB, add another DE, get a real running back, etc. I have full confidence in Smithiak that they will address those issues.
Predictions people ??
