Been a kid-centric morning, and I have a boatload of homework due tonight. Matt is currently recreating Pancakes’ historic tour of every IHOP in Missouri, so he’s out of commission (plus, the syrup blew out his Crackberry). According to Zierlein, Dunta is on the preseason PUP list, not the regular season one and there is some hope that he could be playing by the 4th or 5th game. Someone I know who watched him at practice said he seemed a little unsteady, so all of that may be Barbaro/Green style bullshit.

@ DSITE: Yeah, the whole “he’s on the PUP” is meaningless right now as far as the regular season goes. Hell, Manning is on it and he’s supposed to be 183% come opening Sunday. It’s just a technicality so the guys have a legit excuse for missing practices. When/if they put him on the real PUP list, I’ll care.

@Tim: Naw Tim, I AM Rick Smith??!! [J/K]Like a paralegal/intern, I’ll do the grunt work for the ones who throw themselves out there for the “cause”. (plus, they are internet friends, who I admire and I’d sit down in any bar and have many beers with one day at our SB party, if not sooner!)
