Come along and ride… Fantasy Football is here. By my last count, the people on board were: Me, Lee, grungedave, socctty, DisplaceTexan, Dan B., DeMecoShall…, Jordan, and abumnamedPaul. That’s 9. Both bigwood25 and bfd have thrown their names in as “if you need me” players. Max number of teams in this is 12 and the draft is tentatively set for this Saturday afternoon. Gary Kubiak is making the NFL preseason his bitch. So says Keith Weiland. I have no reason to disagree, either. Very solid write-up. And “Kung Fu Panda” as a nickname for Duane Brown is gold.

Does anyone else think/know if Slaton put on some weight before camp? He seems a bit larger than he did in college. In any event, he looked pretty good. If he keeps this up, we’re going to have a great offense this year.

@WillFist4Food: During the game, the announcers indicated he weighed 207 lbs. Texans website has him at 201. Looks like he weighed 197 at the combine. His playing weight last year was 185 - 190 lbs, depending upon where you look. So he definitely has bulked up.
