Are Brown and Green locks to make the roster?

@Charlie: Hard to tell. I mean, which gimp do you cut? Part of it might depend on their confidence in Taylor handling both HB and FB duties. Slaton is on. Walker seems to be the guy who’s getting short-changed on carries.

Hell, we could probably PUP either Brown or Green, depending on who’s most injured in the time snapshot, and have him as a kind of “backup.”

I sincerely hope, though, that a team with a deeper RB corps makes a stupid cut.

O/T but, ass-hat McHutt (Johnny Fat) just told his picks for the SB, here in Nashville (where he’s licked and not kicked), that the Dallas Cowfuckers will win the SB over the Pats this year. Colts to win the AFC South.

To the topic at hand, 22 players to go!

I don’t really have a problem with putting either of them (or both) on the PUP. That does beg the question of how many players can be on the PUP. Ultimately, it’s not my money. However, I can remotely envision Brown being useful. As for Green, let’s just put us all out of our misery.

So the Bears released CB Ricky Manning Jr., he is an instant upgrade to a depleted CB core and we could use use someone who has a nose for the ball. But he is a accomplished asshat and may be an intolerable distraction for a young team such as ours, but remeber the Rockets just picked up Ron Artest, son is it the same situation we need a playmaker and so we deal with the fact that he has some issues or do we say no way jose and hope our guys are not as bad as they have looked? I would at least bring him in for a look see.

As long as we’re hanging onto injury-case RBs, we aught to at least cut our old, crappy ones and sign somebody like Kenny Irons who might be able to contribute down the road.

Incredible. Since the Chris Brown signing, I thought the answer to the Green vs. Brown debate would be to simply wait until one of them went down in preseason, and the other would win the job by default.
But neither back can stay healthy enough to get seriously injured.

I think that Green and Brown (Where the fuck is Mr. Pink?) should have to fight it out like Timmy and Jimmy on South Park. Although it would probably look allot more like the scene from They Live than the animated shit. Can anyone spell PAY PER VIEW?

@nash: Ahem. Cripple Fight. I repeat, Cripple Fight.

Along with Scott Tenorman must die and underpants gnomes, Cripple Fight is probably one of the three greatest SP episodes ever.

    Best SP eps ever?

Wacky Molestation Adventure (the “M” word - bad touch!)
Red Badge of Gayness (Civil War reenactment)
    Cartman Joins NAMBLA
    Scott Tenorman Must Die
    Simpsons Did It!
    Faith + 1 (Cartman’s Christian Rock Band)

if you doubt me, just gaze over at my avatar, I’m the expert here, dammit!

@grungedave: Faith + 1 was fantastic. As was NAMBLA. I didn’t dig Simpsons Did It too much, but I’ve only seen it once.

one line in “Simpsons Did It!” sells the whole ep…

“the idiot gave it to me for free - he said all I gotta do it close my eyes and suck it out of a hose!”
